Doll makeup guide

Makeup on a sex doll

Two honest things before anything else. We do not sell a makeup kit on its own — the palette reaches customers inside one bundle, the Lucidtoys starter pack. And we publish no technique of our own beyond what is already on our FAQ, which is quoted in full further down. What follows is quoted from our own listings and pages, or counted from the catalogue on 16-Sep-2026.

What your doll's face arrives with

Faces are painted at the factory, and the listing is where that is written down. These counts come from the live, in-stock catalogue on 16-Sep-2026.

FACT 01

Heads are sold as painted

559 head listings say so

Of the 644 live, in-stock listings whose description uses the words “make-up”, 559 are heads. 238 of those head listings carry the line “Sex Doll head with professional make-up and eyelashes.”

What “light make-up” means here

516 head listings spell it out the same way: “A gorgeous head with light make-up (eyeshadow, lipstick), eyelashes and light blush.” That is the shade you receive — it is not adjustable at order time.

Eyeshadow · lipstick · blush
TPE takes more

482 head listings add: “Made from TPE, this head feels just like real skin - soft, flexible, easily squeezable, pinchable and perfect to put make-up on.” That is our supplier copy, and it is as close as our listings come to inviting you to add your own.

FACT 02

The photos are not the face you unbox

46 listings say it outright

45 full-size dolls and one torso carry this disclaimer: “please be aware that the use of makeup and specialized lighting is part of our imaging process to highlight their features for better representation. It is important to note that the dolls are dispatched without the applied makeup.”

And what it suggests instead

The same paragraph continues: “We encourage our customers to explore and personalize their dolls with makeup, clothing, and accessories such as different wigs and eyes, to achieve their desired appearance.” That wording is on 45 of the 46.

Head listings and full-doll listings do not say the same thing about makeup, and neither does one brand against another. Read the description on the product you are actually buying rather than a figure on this page.

FACT 03

Material changes how the paint behaves

TPE

Our TPE guide rates face and makeup detail as “Good. Softer detail, and makeup can wear with heavy handling.”

Softer detail
Silicone

Our silicone guide rates it “High. Sharp sculpted detail on the face and body”, and says silicone “Resists tearing, staining and marking better than TPE.”

Sharper detail
Hybrid

Our hybrid guide says “most dolls we list as hybrid have a silicone head on a TPE body”, and rates the face “High. The silicone head carries sharper sculpting and makeup.” Read the listing to see which way round yours is built.

Where the makeup palette actually is

This is the part customers write in about, so it is worth being blunt. There is no makeup product on this site you can add to a basket by itself.

What you can buy

  • The Lucidtoys starter pack, £60.00, in three eye colours.
  • Its listing lists the contents: “Makeup Palette - makeup kit, TPE Cream - 50G, Hair, Vaseline - Original Petroleum Jelly, Eyes”.
  • Stock on 16-Sep-2026 was one of each of the three.
  • The listing adds: “Please note: The hair colour and style will be sent out at random.”
See the packs →

What you cannot

  • The palette on its own. We searched our catalogue for makeup, palette, pallet, cosmetic, lipstick, eyeshadow and blusher across published and unpublished products on 16-Sep-2026 and found none.
  • A refill, a replacement shade, or a named brand of palette — we do not publish what is in it beyond “makeup kit”.
  • A doll-specific makeup remover. We stock none.
  • If you need the palette on its own, ask us rather than assume it is hiding somewhere on the site.

Prices and stock are as at 16-Sep-2026: £60.00 each, one of each variant in stock. Both move, so the product page is right and this page is a snapshot. The TPE Cream inside the pack is a stain remover, not a cosmetic — see the section below before you reach for it.

The guidance we publish, word for word

Three entries on our Sex Dolls FAQ touch cosmetics. They are reproduced here unchanged, because paraphrasing care advice is how people end up using the wrong thing on a painted face. This is not a set of new techniques, and we are not presenting it as one.

FAQ 01

“Can I put make up on the doll?”

Our answer, in full

“Yes, you can put makeup on your sex doll. Most regular make-up is safe on TPE love dolls and sometimes it's more about choosing something that's safe for you if you're going to be kissing/sucking. To remove makeup you can use baby oil or makeup remover that is especially for silicone/TPE. Think of your doll's face like a human face and be gentle. You can literally just apply the makeup remover/ baby oil to a soft cloth and wipe the makeup off.”

FAQ 02

“How to put on eyelashes on my sex doll?”

Our answer, in full

“You can buy any eyelash set in shops and apply just enough (TPE Safe) glue (from the set) on the eye lid and be ready to wipe any excess away with a wet wipe as it can damage your doll if you allow excess to seep onto other areas. Apply with a toothpick or a paper clip.”

Wipe excess away
FAQ 03

“Can I colour the nipples?”

Our answer, in full

“There are many options to colour the nipples. You can use blush powder or mascara, working outwards to get a natural effect. Then when finished, carefully dab on top of this a light smear of Vaseline and let it soak. Another method is to use lip gloss and apply it with the applicator brush found in the lip gloss bottle, wait about 30 min to soak in. Afterwards, dab it with a white paper towel in a fast up and down motion.”

Vaseline is in the pack

That is the extent of it. We do not publish a step-by-step for applying eyeshadow, lipstick or blush to a doll's face, we do not name a brand of cosmetic that is safe on TPE or silicone, and we will not invent one here — the wrong solvent on a painted TPE face is not reversible. Your doll came with the manufacturer's own instructions, and on a question this page does not answer, those instructions come first. If they are missing or unclear, ask us and we will go back to the supplier rather than guess.

What not to do to a painted face

Each row below is lifted from a page already live on this site, and the source is named so you can check it. Nothing here is our opinion.

Don't What our own page says Source
Scrub it “Do not scrub the face, as makeup can wear, and avoid harsh solvents.” Silicone guide
Soak it “wipe the face with a damp cloth and a little mild soap rather than soaking it, and do not scrub the makeup.” Hybrid guide
Reach for solvent “Avoid harsh solvents, which can damage the skin.” TPE guide
Rub it hard “The silicone head resists staining better, but face makeup can wear if rubbed.” Hybrid guide
Warm it up Heat tolerance on TPE: “Low. Keep away from radiators, heaters, hot water and strong sun.” TPE guide
Let glue run “wipe any excess away with a wet wipe as it can damage your doll if you allow excess to seep onto other areas.” Our FAQ
Dress it in new dark fabric “the skin is porous which means it can absorb moisture and stains. Thus we do not recommend exposure to new dark coloured fabrics.” Our FAQ
Handle it roughly Face and makeup detail on TPE: “Good. Softer detail, and makeup can wear with heavy handling.” TPE guide

Two of those rows are about the head rather than the body, and which applies to your doll depends on what it is made from. If you are not sure, the material is named on the product page, and the three guides above explain what each one wants.

The care chemistry we do stock — and what it is for

Two products get mistaken for cosmetics. They are not. Here is what each one says it does, in its own words.

Neodoll TPE Cream 50g stain remover for TPE dolls
Neodoll TPE Cream — 50g

A stain remover, not a makeup product. Its listing reads: “TPE Stain remover is a cream that is spread thinly over stains and left overnight to remove the stain.” It is aimed at dye from dark clothing, not at a painted face. 24 in stock on 16-Sep-2026.

£16.99
Neodoll TPE glue 15ml for repairing TPE dolls
Neodoll TPE Glue — 15ml

A repair product: “Repair scratches, cuts and tears on your TPE sex doll.” It is not an eyelash adhesive, and our FAQ tells you to use the glue that comes with the eyelash set instead. 25 in stock on 16-Sep-2026.

£11.95
Neodoll accessories kit with wig, lubricant and eyes
Neodoll Accessories Kit

Listed contents are a wig, lubes and eyes. No makeup in it — we are listing it here so you do not buy it expecting a palette. 15 in stock on 16-Sep-2026.

£54.25

Our FAQ also notes, in its staining entry, that “TPE cream can be used to remove marks and stains”. That is the same product as the 50g cream above, and it is the reason a tube of it sits in the starter pack next to the palette. Nothing we sell is described as a makeup remover for dolls; the FAQ's own suggestion for that job is baby oil or a remover made for silicone and TPE, neither of which we stock.

Heads whose listings describe their makeup

Four in stock on 16-Sep-2026, each carrying the “light make-up (eyeshadow, lipstick), eyelashes and light blush” line. Shades differ between heads, so compare the photos rather than the wording.

One thing our head copy repeats that is worth reading before you order a second head: “Choose your head carefully, so it matches the skin colour of the body.” Where there is a small difference, the same listings suggest “a choker or collar to hide the transition between the 2 shades”. Makeup is not the fix for a shade mismatch between a head and a body.
