Four stages from the JY Dolls factory visit, shown in the photos below.

  1. The skeleton

    Metal skeleton parts and joints laid out on the workshop floor.

  2. The heads

  3. Hand assembly

    Technicians work on heads and bodies by hand at the workbenches.

  4. Moulds and storerooms

    Skeletons are fitted into body moulds, and moulds and body shells are kept in the storerooms.

In early 2020 the Lucidtoys team visited the JY Dolls factory to see how the dolls we sell are made. These photos are from that visit, from the metal skeletons and the head room to the assembly floor and storerooms. Tap any photo to see it full size.
